I made a video last month of some of the mopeding and travelling I've done this summer. I uploaded it to Vimeo and it worked great. BUT I forgot that a majority of people who view things on their mobile phone cannot watch the Vimeo link. So I uploaded it to my YouTube account and hopefully everyone can see it now. PS WATCH IT IN HD!

My Derbi Laguna GPS'd! Wooooo!
Got a few holes patched in my pipe and decided to finally GPS my derbi. The current setup is a 65 jet in a Dellorto 14:12, 1 variator weight taken out (yes you read that correctly), timing slightly advanced, stock cylinder with ports cleaned up, a ninja Circuit pipe, 1500 clutch springs, stock gearing (19 x 30), and 36 psi in each tire. I was wearing new microsuede black Vans (double knotted and laced to the top), Krew Andrew Reynolds pants with crotch blown out, no show white socks, black American Apparel pocket Tee with an ACR pin, random full face helmet found at the MLM shop (smelled like booty juice), 14 g septum ring (I think its surgical stainless steel but I could be wrong), 3 inch beard, and a huge shit eating grin. I hit 42.5 mph and im pretty satisfied with that, cruised steady at 40mph. I like getting good gas mileage and keeping up with traffic. but we all know that IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT THE MILEAGE, ITS ABOUT THE SMILE-AGE.

Hanging with MLM and INDIGAN.
Came out to Goshen for a few to hang with INDIGAN mopeds and Motion Left Mopeds (home of Janus Motorcycles). COOL SHOP! been working on my laguna and have it running tip top shape right now. woo!! It's really nice to be out of Chicago for a second and be in a small town. Goshen is really nice and homey. The coffee is decent and there is a moped shop, what more do you need? Check these pics....

Hanging with Anchor Racing.
Anchor Racing was testing out some of their Minarelli powered landspeed bikes the other day and I went to hang. They're planning on going to Bonneville in Late August to see how fast they can get their bikes. Todd was having some issues with his bike that that are hopefully an easy fix. Here are some pics and a video of them testing bikes.

MOPED SUMMER 2012!
This is a video I made of my last few months of travelling. Locations include Portland, Seattle, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Chicago, Denver, New York, and the middle of nowhere. Includes mopeds, skateboarding and being a transient.
Song Credit: Neon Indian - Polish Girl.
Documenting dumb things is fun and it's nice to be able to show my friends and family exactly what Ive been doing. This summer has been great so far and I've met so many great people. If you frequent rallies you may just be in this.

Also Vice Magazine did a little story on a trip we took last month, check it out here: http://www.vice.com/read/a-doomed-train-hopping-trip

CASSEROLLERS TOT FEST!
SOOO I went to Minneapolis this weekend for the Casserollers TOT FEST rally and it was super fun. I had never been to MLPS before so it was nice to see the city. Everyone was super nice and it was fun getting to know everyone better. We did a ton of riding and eating, so good. They had an obscene amount of tots, but we handled it. Maize was trolling in real life the whole time. We did a night ride through downtown and to the sculpture garden which I really enjoyed. The race was great because it was really relaxed and not as strict as races I've gone to in the past. There were a few different classes including stock, variated, single speed, girls only, dubbs, all the good stuff. I got 3rd in the stock race on a Honda Express 2....pretty awesome. I got to meet Shelly Bachman (mopedgal) and she was a sweet heart! All in all I would HIGHLY recommend this race for everyone next year. You can get to know a track and ride as much as you want in a relaxed environment. Good seeing AMES IOWA friend too!
