Back in Chicago and I drug Nash Wiley back with me. We've been watching The Skateboard Kid on VHS and banging out bikes like we are on drugs. It's so cold here, been able to ride 1 day in the last week :(. It better get nice out soon or ill prob just get into painting hermit crab shells. Been building alot around the Castle and its been awesome. Every bike in this post was resurrected in 1 day of productiveness followed by days of being turds.

This engine was frozen to the ground (off the bike), we put it in front of the shop heater for 10 mins, drill started it in a vice and it caught on fire. INDIAN OUTLAW.

Just some rando crap from the last few weeks. M.O.P.E.D., new projects, and travelling.

GUYS I GOT EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH! Will gave me this Laguna weakends pipe and its working pretty well so far.

$80 dollar Peugeot 103 project. AKA shop bike.

So that's why my bike would idle and not rev out! damn the Arizona tea shims. mikunis rule!

Side note: Bald guy on the right got super wasted and ate some Vicodins (he was telling everyone about the pills he had) and passed the fuck out on the middle of the top floor isle. HAHAH He weighed like 400 lbs and they had to DISCONNECT THE TRAIN CARS AND HOIST HIM DOWN hahahah. Cost everyone 2 hours of their time because this dude couldnt handle himself. What a shit show! Dude was partying by himself like a 17 year old boy, what a NOOB!

$10 dollar 1977 Puch maxi I bought while visiting home. needs work but I'm stoked to have a stocker to putts around my hometown on eventually.

Missing engine bolts are my fav thing to repair... SIKE!

Derbi Laguna HPI fun fun.

So Put a HPI Ignition on my PP Derbi Laguna today. Im excited to increase the reliability and performance after having issues with my stock ignition. I still need to put the lighting coil on and get the correct bulbs for it. I slapped this dude on in 10 mins and its ripping. Also I added a 18mm Mikuni Carb (running 70 jet with no air filter) for a 50cc race I was in 2 weeks ago at the Motion Left Rally (The race was hilarious!). Look at that Donger intake I made out of a stock Puch pipe. I'm thinking about going back to the Dellorto 14:12 though because I'm not sure I need an 18mm carb on my stock cylinder, who knows! ALSO Been travelling a ton! Went to the Motion Left Rally "Slow Motion" and had a blast. I was in a 60 mile 50cc race with 2 other people. Ultimately noone really won because we all got lost. But we had a ton of fun at the camp site ramping (and breaking...TRAVIS) mopeds, I got Chad Burkes Derbi SL stuck in 8 foot cattails. I recently went home and bought a 20 dollar white 1977 Puch Maxi that I'm excited to make BONE stock and ride around looking stupid on. Pumped on life.

HPI instructions if you dont already have them. Super easy to follow and the Derbi PP and PR engines both use the left diagram, set it and forget it.
